Buerkle Middle teacher receives grant for computers

Buerkle grantCathy Schultz, computer technology teacher at Buerkle Middle School, received a $500 grant from the Missouri Retired Teachers Association (MRTA). Schultz is one of 10 awardees in the St. Louis region, and the only Mehlville teacher to receive the grant. The money will be used to purchase Raspberry Pis, single-board computers that promote the teaching of basic computer science and programming.
