Board approves 2020 blended tax rate
Board approves 2020 blended tax rate

The Mehlville Board of Education unanimously approved the 2020 blended tax rate of $3.8056 at its annual tax rate Hearing on Monday, Sept. 28, 2020. The blended rate is similar to the previous year of $3.7994.

In consultation with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health, and following a review of COVID-19 related data for South County and the region, we have determined that we will move students in preschool through second grade to Plan B (Blended learning with staggered attendance) on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Our bus drivers are here to help

While our students are learning virtually, our bus drivers will still be transporting students back-and-forth to school for interventions with their teachers. The buses are also being used to transport meals to families who don’t have the ability to travel to school to pick up free Grab-and-Go meals.

Bernard Middle School teacher Jefferson Stephens has been named one of ten honorees for Missouri Regional Teacher of the Year from the St. Louis region. The distinction means he is now eligible to submit an application for Missouri State Teacher of the Year.

Mehlville School District will continue to offer grab-and-go meals through the end of July. Starting on July 6, the district will distribute meals on Mondays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mehlville High School and Oakville High School only.
