Changes to Grab-and-Go meals beginning Jan. 19
Posted on 01/13/2021
There are changes to locations for Mehlville School District’s free Grab-and-Go meal distribution beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19 when elementary school students transition to Plan A: At School and high school students transition to Plan B: Blended.
On Mondays, curbside Grab-and-Go meals will be available at no cost to children ages 1-18 living in Mehlville School District at the district's four middle schools and both high schools from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
On Tuesdays through Fridays, meals will only be available for pick up at Mehlville High School (3200 Lemay Ferry Road) and Oakville High School (5557 Milburn Road) from from 9-9:45 a.m.
These changes will allow our School Food and Nutrition Services staff to focus on preparing and serving meals for on-campus students and following our procedures designed to keep students safe during lunch, while still making sure students who are learning virtually have meals.
While meals are free, we ask that you please complete the School Meals Pickup Request form each week to help our staff know how many meals we need to prepare. Menus differ by school and are posted on the SFNS website.
