The
Mehlville School District has a wide variety of indoor and outdoor
facilities available for individual community use at no charge.
Facilities at the District’s high, middle and elementary schools serve
as perfect venues for indoor and outdoor recreational activities, such
as a meeting room, quick pick-up game of softball or a leisurely stroll
on the track. However, the District encourages the public to be
conscientious of the specific times when its facilities are reserved and
unavailable for use.
During the school year the indoor and
outdoor facilities are unavailable during the school day and while
District activities and competitions are taking place. Please check with
the facility/school for availability. During the District’s summer
break, the outdoor facilities are open to the public daily from 5 a.m.
to 9 p.m.
The following list outlines the District’s outdoor facilities:
- Mehlville High School
Track, ball fields and open areas
- Oakville High School
Track, ball fields, tennis courts and open areas
- All Middle Schools
Track, ball fields, tennis courts at Oakville Middle and open areas
- All Elementary Schools
Playgrounds, basketball hoops and open areas
For
liability reasons, the District asks users not to bring skateboards or
motorized equipment onto school property. For individuals who wish to
enjoy the District’s facilities with their four-legged friends, please
be sure to clean up after them.
All organized groups interested in using the District's indoor or outdoor facilities must follow the District’s procedures to reserve facilities in advance.
