Mental Health Support

Mehlville School District Counselors
Please reach out to your child’s school counselor through email if you have any questions or need help connecting with community resources. If you need assistance with mental health issues outside of your school counselor’s office hours, contact Behavioral Health Response at 314-469-6644 or 1-800-811-4760.

Suicide Prevention
If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, call the National Suicide Helpline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or the St. Louis County Youth Connection Helpline at 314-628-2929 or 1-877-928-2929. You can also text 4HLP to 31658 or HOME to 741741.

Support for Staff
Our staff can only support students when they are taking care of themselves first. We encourage any staff member to take advantage of our Employee Assistance Program (PAS EAP) at (800) 356-0845 or at
www.paseap.com for mental health support and family support resources. Remember: Asking for help is a sign of strength.
