Ten candidates file for Board of Education

Ten Mehlville School District citizens have filed their candidacy for four positions on the Mehlville Board of Education.

The candidates in order of filing and as their names will appear on the ballot, are as follows:

Two-year term candidates (two positions available):
- Peggy Hassler
- Jean Pretto
- Mike Moore
- Bob Mahacek
- Sasha Schmittgens
- Venki Palamand

Three-year term candidates (two positions available):
- Patrick McKelvey
- Amy Summers
- Tori Behlke
- James L. (Simo) Simokaitis

An election will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Mehlville School District will provide more information about each candidate in March through the Mehlville Messenger print newsletter and on the district website.
