MHS giftsMembers of Mehlville High School's National Honor Society recently delivered a gift box to every student at Clay Academy of Exploration and Civics in St. Louis Public Schools.

Students from schools throughout the district contributed gifts, and National Honor Society members wrapped them on Wednesday night and then delivered them on Thursday, Dec. 6.

"It's a life-changing experience just being able to see how happy these kids are after receiving these gifts," said one Mehlville High NHS member.

"So many kids when they're young, they just know their bubble. They know their Mehlville bubble," said Stephen Klobe, Mehlville High teacher and NHS sponsor. "This lets them know there's a bigger world, just in our own city. There's other people that need help as well and who aren't as fortunate as they are."
