Hurricane reliefMehlville School District elementary students made donations to the American Red Cross to wear their hats to school on Friday, Sept. 28. Their efforts paid off, and students presented a check for $2,926.80 to the Red Cross for their relief efforts.

“Empathy and a desire to help the broader community are two of the traits we hope all Mehlville students develop prior to graduation,” said Jeff Bresler, Assistant Superintendent – Supervision of Schools for Mehlville School District. “It’s wonderful to see our young students excited about their ability to make a difference in the lives of others. They are well on their way to being ethical and global citizens.”
