The Mehlville School District bus fleet once again earned the Fleet Excellence Award from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, as well as recognition from the Mehlville Fire Protection District.

                                                           Transportation Awards

The Fleet Excellence Award is given to systems that scored 100% on inspections for the past year. Missouri Highway Patrol also recognized the department for scoring 90% or above on fleet inspections for the past 25 years.

The department was also recognized by the Mehlville Fire Protection District for assistance in training the heavy rescue team to ensure they can safely evacuate, rescue and administer aid to injured children in the event of a school bus accident.

Snow Schedule Option

When appropriate during the winter, the District has implemented a snow schedule where classes will begin two hours later than their normal start times.
