This school year, Mehlville School District will use up to five virtual learning days if our schools close due to snow or inclement weather. If needed, we will use traditional snow days if we have more than five snow days. Traditional snow days will be made up after Memorial Day.

- On a virtual learning day, students are expected to log in to their Chromebooks for instruction and assignments. Virtual instruction days are not made up at the end of the school year. More information about schedules and expectations will be shared with parents and students soon.

- On a traditional snow day, there is no in-person school and no virtual learning. Traditional snow days will be made up beginning on May 31 through June 3, as scheduled on the district calendar.

On both virtual learning days and traditional snow days, all after-school and evening activities and events are canceled unless otherwise communicated. This includes Y Club, community enrichment programs and facility rentals.

In the event that we use a virtual learning day, staff and parents will be notified via text, phone call and/or email through ParentSquare. Additionally, high school students will receive an email via ParentSquare. Snow days and virtual instruction days will also be announced through the district Twitter account, Facebook account and Instagram account, via our district website, mehlvilleschooldistrict.com, through local television stations and other media partners.
