BOE Director Tori BehlkeMehlville Board of Education Secretary Tori Behlke has achieved Advanced Certification in the Missouri School Boards’ Association (MSBA) Certified Board Member program. 

All newly elected school board members are required by state law to complete an 18.5-hour training program. The Advanced Certification recognizes those that complete an additional 12 hours of training, read two books related to school board service, attend at least two MSBA regional or statewide events and write a brief reflection paper relating their study to their board service. 

“Serving our community on the Board of Education is important to me and I take this responsibility very seriously,” Behlke said. “I’m always in search of opportunities to learn more and gain experience so I can fulfill my commitment to our students and add value to our school district through continuous improvement.”

Behlke has served on the Mehlville Board of Education since being elected in 2018. Her three-year term runs through 2021.
