SFNS employee distributes grab-and-go lunchesMehlville School District has received a waiver from the USDA that will allow our School Food and Nutrition staff to serve free meals to all children 18 and under living in Mehlville School District through December. Meals will continue to be free even if we transition to a Blended or At School learning plan.

Meal distribution is currently taking place Monday-Friday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at all of our schools. Students receive a meal for that day, as well as a breakfast for the following morning.

“We’re trying to cook some of our student favorites to give them a little more normalcy to their school day,” said Katie Gegg, Director of School Food and Nutrition Services. “They’re learning at home and things are a little different, but coming to get a school meal might remind them of what school is like.”

Please complete this form each week to allow our staff to prepare the appropriate number of meals.

Please note that there will be no meal distribution on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 7).
