The Instructional Design and Innovation Department is committed to integrating personalization and technology in the classroom. We help teachers and staff design effective, innovative instruction, to make learning accessible and impactful for all.

Data Privacy: Mehlville School district is committed to student safety whether that’s in person, or online. We must make sure student personal information is protected online. Before using a website with students, it must be reviewed through our district online tool approval process, to make sure the website is FERPA and COPPA compliant. Check out our approval process flowchart to understand when a website needs official approval.

  • Click here our Approved Tools List - before submitting a request make sure it hasn’t already been reviewed **The approved list has been updated. It is the same list of tools, with a new look. The list was updated to include: 
    • a description of the online tool
    • cost (if there is one)
    • A denied List: This will show tools that have already been reviewed and the reason it was denied. This will help us be more efficient with reviewing tools so we don't get duplicate requests.
    • A District Support Online Tools: On the top of the approved list, there is a tab called "District Supported Tools." This list includes online tools students login to and it includes tools used by a large portion of our student population, so not all district tools are listed here. On this list you will see resources and who to contact if you need support with that site.
