Open interviews for those positions will now take place on Wednesday, February 1, at Mehlville School District Central Office (3120 Lemay Ferry Road) from 9:30-11 a.m.


Mehlville School District is holding a series of open job interviews in January/February 2023 to fill openings for bus drivers, custodians, food technicians and substitute teachers. At open job interviews, you’ll have the opportunity to meet department directors, learn about positions and benefits, receive assistance completing your application and even interview for a job on-site. 


Bus Drivers
Open interviews for bus drivers will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 13, at Mehlville School District Central Office (3120 Lemay Ferry Road). Full-time bus driving positions offer benefits, including health/dental/vision insurance and retirement. Our bus drivers are off on district holidays. There are opportunities for additional hours by driving for activities. If you don’t currently have your CDL license, our Transportation staff will train you to obtain it.

Custodians
Open interviews for custodians will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, at Mehlville School District Central Office (3120 Lemay Ferry Road). These full-time positions are important to make sure all of our schools and facilities are clean, safe and secure to keep our students, staff and community healthy. These positions include health/dental/vision insurance and retirement, as well as opportunities for advancement within the Facilities Department.

Food Technicians
Open interviews for food technicians will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, at Mehlville School District Central Office (3120 Lemay Ferry Road). These part-time employees prepare and serve a nutritious and delicious lunch to students each day. While these positions are part-time, there are opportunities for advancement into a full-time position in our School Food and Nutrition Services Department.

Substitute Teachers
Open interviews for substitute teachers will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21, and and 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22, at Mehlville School District Central Office (3120 Lemay Ferry Road). We are among many school districts across the country who have a critical need to hire additional substitute teachers. Our substitute teachers earn $115/day and have the opportunity to choose the location and days they work.
