Candidate filing for Board of Education opens December 9, 2025

Any person wishing to file for the Mehlville School District Board of Education may do so at the St. Louis County Board of Elections, 725 Northwest Plaza Dr., St. Ann, MO 63074. Filing will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, through Tuesday, December 30, 2025, during regular office hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Board of Elections will be closed on December 25, 2025. Please check the county website for any additional dates they may be closed.

An election for three seats on the board will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026. All seats carry three-year terms.

Under the provisions of Missouri Statute Section 115.124, if the number of candidates who file is equal to the number of positions to be filled by the election (three), no election will be held. However, if the number of candidates filing exceeds the number of positions at any time during the filing window, the annual school board election will be held on April 7, 2026. Candidates will be listed on the ballot based on a lottery drawing conducted by the St. Louis County Board of Elections.
