The Mehlville Board of Education approved the hiring of Mehlville School District’s next Chief Financial Officer. Tony Ziegler, CPA, will serve as the district’s CFO for the 2026-2027 school year.

Ziegler has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and financial management. He is currently the Accounting Manager at Riverview Gardens. He has also worked as Controller at The Gatesworth, as a real estate analyst for Washington University, as a senior associate for McGladrey LLP and as an accountant for Daniel Jones & Associates.

“From auditing to budgeting and forecasting, Mr. Ziegler has a breadth of financial leadership experiences that will continue to provide for the financial health of Mehlville School District,” said Dr. Jeff Haug, Superintendent of Schools.

Ziegler earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Truman State University. He has also earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant.

"I'm thrilled and honored to join the Mehlville School District,” Ziegler said. “The district is doing important work for the community, and I look forward to bringing my experience to the team while continuing to learn and grow alongside them.”

Ziegler will begin serving the Mehlville School District on July 7, 2026, working through a transition period with Marshall Crutcher, the current Chief Financial Officer. Crutcher will be retiring in November.
