At its April 23, 2026, meeting, the Mehlville Board of Education approved the hiring of Phil Jacquot as principal of Forder Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Jacquot was a special education teacher in Fox School District and at Bramlett Elementary School in Oxford, Mississippi.

“Mr. Jacquot has a strong blend of school leadership experience and classroom experience that will make him an amazing asset at Forder Elementary,” said Dr. Jeff Haug, Superintendent of Schools. “He is known for promoting academic growth, for his ability to support and develop teachers, and for creating structured, supportive and welcoming environments for students, staff and families.”

Jacquot has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi. He has an Educational Specialist Degree in School Administration from Lindenwood University. Jacquot is an Oakville High School graduate.

“I am excited to step into the role of principal at Forder Elementary School,” Jaquot said. “I grew up in the Mehlville School District, so this is a meaningful opportunity to give back to the district that has given so much to my family. I look forward to getting to know the students, staff and families and to continuing the great work already happening at Forder.”

Jacquot will begin serving in this role on July 1, 2026.
