Board of Education approves 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school calendars

The Mehlville Board of Education approved the school calendars for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years at its January 15, 2026, meeting.

The first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year is Monday, August 24, 2026. The last day of school is prior to Memorial Day on Thursday, May 27, 2027, depending on snow days.

The first day of school for the 2027-2028 school year is Monday, August 23, 2027. The last day of school is prior to Memorial Day on Thursday, May 25, 2028, depending on snow days.

After receiving feedback from families, students and staff members, school calendars were drafted by the district’s Calendar Committee. This committee included community members, parents, teachers, support staff and administrators. They worked to draft a calendar for board consideration that meets state requirements and honors the feedback received from the community.
