The Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award is given to educators in the St. Louis area each year who are examples of excellence in their field. Each school in Mehlville School District nominates one teacher for the award, then a committee selects a district representative.

Filing will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2024, through Tuesday, December 31, 2024, during regular office hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. December 31, 2024, the office will close at 5:00 pm. They will be closed on December 25, 2024. Please check the county website for any additional dates they may be closed.
Learning in the Mehlville School District isn’t confined to the four walls of our classrooms. Many of our teachers are working to provide students with unique learning experiences using outdoor classrooms on our campuses.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Mehlville School District can use up to five virtual learning days if our schools close due to snow or inclement weather. If more than five weather closures occur, the district will use traditional snow days.

Where did the school year go? It’s hard to believe the year is over, especially since it is my last at Mehlville School District. I did not start the year with any plans of leaving, but opportunities do not always present themselves as you expect.
