Summer Session
May 5 is the deadline to enroll in Elementary Summer Session
Mehlville School District is offering a free Summer Session for all children entering kindergarten through 12th grade, June 2-27, 2025. There is no Summer Session on June 19.
Kindergarten students will get a jumpstart on learning what it is like to attend elementary school. Students in grades 1-8 will participate in enrichment activities and receive high-quality instruction to reinforce the curriculum. High school students can recover credits or earn elective credits.
Limited transportation shuttles will run from students’ home schools to the summer session site.
Breakfast and lunch will be available daily for a fee. Households who qualify for free and reduced price meals this school year, do not have to complete another application. The meal benefits will continue through the summer session. Households who feel they might qualify for support, apply for free and reduced meals here. Before and after care is available for elementary students through the YMCA.
How do I register my child?
Registration for elementary and middle school Summer Session is now closed. High school registeration remains open.

3) Click the link at the bottom of the email to complete the registration process.
4) Follow the prompts and enter the required information for your student.
Elementary School Summer Session, June 2-27, 2025
Current Locations: Forder Elementary, Oakville Elementary, Rogers Elementary
Daily times: 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Students from Beasley, Bierbaum and Forder elementary school attendance areas will attend Summer Session at Forder Elementary School. Shuttles to Forder will be available at Beasley and Bierbaum.
Students from Blades, Hagemann, Oakville and Trautwein elementary school attendance areas will attend Summer Session at Oakville Elementary School. Shuttles to Oakville Elementary will be available at Blades, Hagemann and Trautwein.
Students from Point, Rogers and Wohlwend elementary school attendance areas will attend Summer Session at Rogers Elementary School. Shuttles to Rogers will be available at Point and Wohlwend.
Before and after-school care is available through the Summer Y Club.
Middle School Summer Session, June 2-27, 2025
Location: Bernard Middle School
Daily times: 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Shuttles to Bernard Middle are available from Buerkle Middle, Oakville Middle and Washington Middle.
High School Summer Session, June 2-13, 2025 (session 1), and June 16-27, 2025 (session 2)
Location: Mehlville High School
Session 1: 7:45 to 10:45 a.m. and/or 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Session 2: 7:25 to 10:45 a.m. and/or 11:15 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.
High school students can earn up to two credits during Summer Session. Virtual options are available. Registered students will receive an email to select classes in mid-April.
A shuttle will be available from Oakville High School.
