The Mehlville School District’s Redistricting Committee has completed an extensive examination of current school boundaries and possible boundary adjustments to reduce school overcrowding. It has been a tedious and time consuming process. Two final scenarios have been chosen for the elementary schools and two final scenarios have been chosen for the middle/high schools. The Board of Education is scheduled to vote on which scenarios to accept at its March 9th meeting.
Two redistricting informational meetings will be held. On Monday, February 27, a redistricting meeting at Washington Middle School begins at 6pm. On Tuesday, February 28, a redistricting meeting at Blades Elementary begins at 6pm.
The various scenario maps (below) are available for downloading. Each map lets you zoom and navigate to look at the school boundaries. There is also a folder (below) that shows the 'comfortable' attendance numbers at each school. To watch a video that explains the feeder system from elementary to middle to high schools, click here.
