Abra-Kid-Abra (Grades 1-5) Learn magic while developing presentation skills and confidence! Class culminates with the magicians putting on a family show. Tricks are all new from the last several years. $75 Click here for more information Art Time (Grades 1-6) Students will create a variety of paintings and drawings with supplies you most likely have at home. $30 Click here for more information Bricks 4 Kidz (Grades K-5) A hands-on class where students build machines, vehicles, and other structures out of motorized, LEGO bricks. Students will develop problem solving and critical thinking skills while exploring principles of engineering, physics, life sciences, and more.  All projects are brand new!  $89 Click here for more information. Chess (Grades K-12) Students will develop patience, good sportsmanship, perseverance, and critical thinking skills while learning the game of chess.  $125 Click here for more information

Little Medical School (Grades K-5) Kids will discover how the body and organs work, how to use medical instruments, administer first aid and even tie knots like a real surgeon. $95 Click here for more information Little Veterinarian (Grades K-5) Using interactive demonstrations, crafts and games, kids learn how to take care of a pet and use instruments that real veterinarians use. $95 Click here for more information Mad Science (Grades K-5) Have fun with physics and Mad Science! Fly through flight and discover the four forces that affect flight. Make and test plane designs to see these forces in action. Act like junior architects and engineers! Test out shapes for strength and build a bridge. Create a whirlwind with a vortex generator. Make liquids turn into solids and watch objects disappear as you uncover the science of magic. Feel the pull of precession with the bike wheel gyroscope and strike the perfect balance with the Gravity Game kit. Strings (Beginning and Advanced, Grades 3-5) Registration for session 2 is now available. Please register online. Spanish (Grades K-5) Learn practical vocabulary, correct pronunciation and basic sentence structure necessary to understand and use the Spanish language. $30 Click here for more information

Tennis (Grades 3-12)  Join us to learn the game of tennis.  $60

Kayaking Club on Wednesday's(Ages 13 & up) Kayaking- Open Pool Practice/ Bring your Whitewater Kayak and practice strokes, rolling, play moves, etc. in the warm pool to get the rust out in time for spring paddling. This is a four session class! NO CLASS 3/28!!! Click here for more information

Swimnastics(Ages 18 & up) Water Aerobics that are held in the shallow end of the swimming pool which allows you to get a great workout without putting stress on the joints. Classes are held every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The fall session will begin on August 21 and August 23. The fee is 1 day/week:  $40 ($25 for 60plus); 2 days/week: $50 ($35 for 60plus). Click here for more information Participants may sign up for class 1 day/ week (Monday or Wednesday) or for 2 days/week (Monday & Wednesday) Yoga (Ages 18 & up) Come create a mind-body connection through Yoga while practicing basic poses, breathing for relaxation, and learning about other tension releasing techniques. $65 More information coming Fall 2018!
Zumba (Ages 18 & up) This class burns major calories and activates muscle groups by  incorporating simple Latin rhythms that can be easily modified for all physical types.  $40. Click here for more information DRIVER’S EDUCATION

There will be four sessions of driver’s education offered this fall for students ages 15 and up. Classes run Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 6 p.m. in room 102 of the Witzel Learning Center (located on the MHS campus.) Students will be required to drive with instructors before class and on some weekends.  The sessions are as follows:

Session 3:  4/9 to 4/26/18

Session 4:  4/30 to 5/17/18

The fee for Driver’s Education is $200 for district residents, $225 for non-residents. Click here for more information


Coached Lap Swim (All ages with tryout) This class will instruct swimmers in stroke development/improvement Session 2 Tryouts will be held on March 22, at 6 p.m. The 18 strongest swimmers will be invited to enroll in the class. $125

Recreational Swim Swimming Pool hours are Monday through Friday 6 to 7 a.m. (lap swim only): Sunday through Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday and Friday 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday 2 to 4:30 p.m. Fee:  $3 for students and 60plus members, $4 for adults, $6 per family.  Employees swim free with their district id badge. Please see the pool supervisor for membership information.   Saturday Morning Swim Lessons (Ages 3 & up) There will be two 7-week sessions offered. Classes run for 50 minutes every Saturday. Advanced Swim is held at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Learn to Swim Lessons are held at 8, 9, 10, 11 a.m. and 12 and 1 p.m. The fee is 7 weeks:  $40 ($50 for non-residents); 14 weeks:  $75 ($90 for non-residents).
